Free of HGPs
Whole life ban on hormones. Verified by NVD from farmer and an affidavit from the feedlot. Spot checks for implants are carried out in the abattoir in accordance with our natural beef protocol (0716).
Free of antibiotics
The withholding period for any antibiotics used during the grazing phase must have expired before cattle enter the feedlot. The feedlot never treats cattle with antibiotics. If cattle are injured or become sick in the feedlot they are withdrawn from the natural beef program.
Free of animal by-product feeds
Cattle are only fed on pastures, or with feeds derived from grasses and cereals throughout their entire life. No animal by-product feed is ever used.
